Well, camping was so fun. On Friday, after the race, we headed out to the campsite. We set-up camp and hung out for a while waiting for Tony and
Leslee to get there. They had to come later since Tony had Kellen til 3 pm on Friday. Anyway once they arrived all 6 of us drove to Florence and ate dinner at Mo's and then staked out our spot to watch fireworks. It was a great show! It lasted about 25-30 minutes and everyone was commenting how it was one of the best shows they had seen. It started sprinkling a little during the fireworks but nothing too bad that deterred us from staying. We were all pretty wiped out by the time we got back to camp
around 11:00-11:30, so we all headed straight for bed. Saturday was pretty low-key. We had pancakes for breakfast, swam in the river, played cards, took naps, read, sat around the campfire telling funny stories and eating
s'mores. (Yummy!!) It was everything camping is suppose to be. It was just fun to be with friends and relax!
I woke up on Saturday night to some commotion in the woods, RIGHT NEXT TO MY TENT! It totally freaked me out! We got up with a flash light and looked out the windows but couldn't see anything, so tried to go back to sleep. And then a few minutes later, we could hear some animal breathing by our tent. I swear it was a bear. Because I am pretty sure a raccoon doesn't not have the lung capacity of whatever it was that was outside our tent. Anyway, I am just going to say it was a bear because it makes the story more fun anyway. But yeah, I was scared and it took me quite some time to fall back to sleep.
This weekend was full of good times. Here are some pictures.

And I came away with only 2 bug bites.
One here on my arm and one on my leg!
