Reading with Grandpa

I tried to go un-noticed the other day while taking this picture, but I think Megan has camera radar or something. She always knows when to look up and give us her best cheese smile. I love this picture, it may be a little blurry, but to me, it is still priceless.

Birthday at Plumper's Pumpkins

First of all, I must say...WOW....three posts in one day! Good for me! :) There would have been four but I can't seem to upload my videos!
You are safe for a little bit longer Kelly....but soon the whole world will see your Wii Hula Hoops skills!! Oh, and there is a video of Megan riding her pony! So you have more to look forward to!

We celebrated Megan's 2nd birthday with a party at Plumper's Pumpkins. Kristie and Josh did an amazing job, as usual. There were balloons and candy and yummy treats and everything was great. We had such a great time helping Megan live it up while turning 2!

Oh my word did Megan love, love, love the pony rides!
I think she wants a pony for her 3rd birthday!
She could probably get one out of grandma and papa!

I love this picture. She looks like such a big girl sitting here on the bench.
Yet she looks so little and you just want to kiss those cheeks off! I know you do too!

D and I got Megan a cozy, adorable little blue coat and a fun musical instrument set. I am sure her parents will still love us though. D kept telling me... "They are going to HATE us for that. And pay us back someday!" lol.

And more horsey rides!

Birthday Girl and her mommy!
Too Cute!

D, Stacy and I being a happy little farmer family!

Nice face Stacy....lol!

I heart him!

I heart him again....

...and again!

Happy number 2 Megan Amanda!

Dear Megan,
I can hardly believe how fast the time has gone since I watched your brave mommy bring you into this world. It was one of the most beautiful and joyful moments of my life. It is hard to believe that you can love someone so much after seeing them for the first time, however we all loved you for 9 months before we saw you.

That day will be memorable for us all. I will never forget everyone in the room cheering on your mommy in the last moments before you made your entrance. We were all so excited, and your mommy was so remarkably strong and courageous during all the hard work it took her to get you here and for her to become your mother all in that incredibly miraculous moment.

I will never forget the adoring look of pri
de in your daddy's eyes as he saw you for the first time and tenderly touched your mommy's forehead with a kiss. They were now a family and they have loved you fiercely ever since that Monday afternoon, and always will.

I will never forget your Grandma's bea
ming face with the tears at the brim of her eyes as she watched her daughter bring new life into the world and become a mother herself. Someday that will be your mommy watching you!

I will never forget Auntie Kelly's look of awe and astonishment as she witnessed your birth. She was so excited, but couldn't decide if she really wanted to watch or not. But one thing was for sure, she could not wait to get her hands on you...just like the rest of us!

I will never forget being on the phone with Auntie Stacy giving her every update possible. She heard everyone encouraging your mom in the last minutes of her pregnancy. And of course she received a picture of your beautiful self on her cell phone just moments after your birth.

And then there was grandpa. I have never seen him as excited as he was on the day you joined our family. He just wanted to hold you and kiss you! He spent most of his time in the waiting room, until the last moments where he made his way down to the room and waited just outside the door for you to be here. I am sure he will never forget the moment your daddy walked you out to him so you could meet your papa. You have been the apple of his eye ever since.

Megan, my prayer for you is that you always know how loved you are and how special you are. God knew just what he was doing when He made you. His plans for you are prosperous and hopeful. I also pray that you know how truly blessed you are to have your mommy and daddy. They would do anything for you.

Thank you for all you add to our family, all the smiles and the tickles, all the laughs, the bounces, and the ring-around-the-rosies, the high-fives and pounds and especially for all those kisses! We cherish you sweet girl and our family would never be complete without you!

SOLD!

After a little bit of a scare with the possibility of the sale of D's house falling through....The people signed and we're getting the keys to this house at the end of the week. And we are SOOO excited!!
Everyone will have to come over and hang out!

Lees Farm on a Sunny Day

Farmer Megan

"Cheese!"

Megan was admiring the farm on the tractor ride

Can you all imagine the bunny face she was making? Too cute!

Click to make this picture bigger!
Can you see her trying to feed the baby cow?
That was so precious! I didn't even know she would know to do that!
This is also the baby cow she kissed bye bye!
She loved him.

Aunt Tami and Megan

D and I got to watch Megan on Sunday and we had a blast!
She is such a sweet, funny, smart and energetic little girl.
We sure do love her!!

Here are just a couple of random pictures of the day.
You will have to wait until next week to see the rest.

Some of my favorite things on Sunday were:
** Getting Megan up from her nap, I walked in and she just smiled and waved at me and then stood up and shook her hands "all done!" I picked her up and she ripped the binkie out of her mouth and chucked it back into her bed and then gave her Aunt Mami and kiss!

** Feeding Megan lunch while she sat on the table. I would give her a bite and then she would give me a bite!

** Seeing her grab for D's hand anytime we walked somewhere.

** Taking her to church where she loves the music and signed "more" everytime that music stops and then smiles SOOO big and claps when everyone else does.

** Watching her carry around her baby doll and telling it "its alright! Night night baby."

Thanks for coming to play Megan!
You are such a JOY!

And I think I can share this video... Megan was a brave girl and went down a HUGE slide with D. She loved it! Listen closely for her squeals and then the "more" sign when they were done!
